Women’s March is proud to unite with the 50501 Movement and grassroots groups to mobilize thousands of activists to Washington, D.C., for this powerful day of action. We’re coordinating closely with movement partners managing rally logistics to ensure our bases are energized, supported, and ready to show up.

Below, you’ll find everything you need to plan, plug in, and take action in D.C. on April 5th.

  • Across the country, people are rising up to reject the MAGA takeover of our rights and freedoms. In D.C., we’ll gather for a mass mobilization at the Washington Monument to defend our democracy, our communities, and our future.

    When:
    Saturday, April 5 at 12:00 PM (rain or shine!)
    Arrive early—pre-program begins at 11:00 AM

    Where: Sylvan Theater, across from the Washington Monument (National Mall, DC)

  • If you're in the DMV or driving in on your own, think about parking at a DC Metro Station outside the district and taking public transportation in to the rally. The closest Metro Station is the Smithsonian Station, which is serviced by the Blue, Orange, and Silver Lines.

    Women’s March has partnered with Rally to help coordinate transportation for folks traveling into DC. You can reserve a seat on an existing bus, start your own route, or crowdfund your ride with others in your area. Get on a bus →

    Note: Some routes are subsidized based on regional demand to maximize turnout. Rally’s free 7-day cancellation deadline is 3/29. Ticket bookings remain open until 4/4. Please share this information with your networks interested in riding with Rally.

  • Yes!* Look out for an on-site art build hosted by Women’s March. We’ll provide poster boards and art supplies—bring your message or make one with us. Let’s fill the streets with color, creativity, and defiance.

  • Yes. The event will meet ADA standards, with accessible restroom options. We’re working closely with partners to ensure the event is as inclusive as possible.

  • Absolutely. This is a peaceful, people-powered event, and many families will be attending together.

  • Masks are encouraged, especially in tightly packed areas. Please stay home if you’re feeling unwell—and consider joining or organizing a local action near you.

  • Wear whatever helps you feel ready to march, be seen, and stay comfortable. Check the weather and dress accordingly.

  • The rally will begin at 12 PM and is expected to end around 3:30 PM ET.

  • Yes—they refer to the same mobilization. Different groups began organizing at different times, using different names, but all with the same goal: to bring people to Washington, D.C. on April 5th to defend our freedoms and fight back against the MAGA assault on our rights. No matter what name brought you here, we’re united in purpose, and we’ll be in the streets together—shoulder to shoulder.

  • You’re still part of this movement. If you can’t travel, you can still take action—find a local event near you and show up in your community.
